The AII-4001 is an advanced, extremely accurate, easy to use analyzer with significant competitive advantages. Featuring proprietary software operated with literally "one touch" of a key, the AII-4001 eliminates potential errors in readings of up to 6.7% related to environmental influences and interpretation of conversion charts, thereby, enabling the user to analyze dive gas mixtures with complete confidence.

Technology Overview

Divers have historically been concerned about their dive gas mixes and resulting underwater readings being off by as much as 6.7% due to environmental influences and interpretation of conversion charts.

The AII-4001 features a proven advanced galvanic oxygen sensor, proprietary helium and environmental (temperature, pressure and relative humidity) sensors that provide linear measurements of dive gas mixtures over the entire 0-100% full scale ranges for up to 5 years. The sensors are specific to their named element and require no maintenance other than periodic calibration, the accuracy of which is crucial to a reliable measurement.

The AII-4001 and accessories are packaged in an unmistakeable bright red, rugged waterproof plastic carrying case designed specifically to stand out in hostile diving conditions. The absence of knobs differentiates the AII-4001 as it is one of the few digital portable analyzers on the market. Pressing the red POWER key activates the large informative LCD display in a matter of seconds. In fact, "one touch" is all that is required to perform any function with the AII-4001.

However, what really sets the AII-4001 apart from the competition are the proprietary algorithms that compensate the oxygen and helium sensors and their resultant readings for environmental influences during both calibration and analysis modes. The oxygen value is compensated for temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure. The helium value is automatically zeroed every time the analyzer is calibrated with air or 100% oxygen and is compensated for differences in the thermal conductivity properties of oxygen and nitrogen.

Achieving an precise calibration is as simple as removing the sample manifold to expose the sensors to ambient air and a "one touch" press of the green CAL O2 ZERO He key. Replace the sample manifold, connect the proper sample fitting and hose and begin sampling dive mixes knowing the AII-4001 provides the most accurate oxygen, helium and balance (nitrogen) readings possible. If dim lighting makes reading the display difficult, a simple "one touch" press of the yellow BACK LIGHT key enlightens the display for 15 seconds.
